Sosyal değişim kaçınılmaz bir olgudur. Hukukla sosyal değişim arasında sıkı bir ilişki mevcuttur. Bu nedenle, sosyal kurumlar değişime hazırlıklı olmalıdırlar. Genel kanaate göre, İslam hukuku, sosyal değişime tamamıyla kapalı olmadığı gibi, her toplumsal değişime açık da değildir. İslam Hukuku’nun değişim stratejisini şöyle formüle etmek mümkündür: İslam Hukuku, hak ve adalet gibi yüce değerlerin sahip olduğu toplum oluşturma gayesinden taviz vermeden, olumlu sosyal gelişmelere açık bulunmakta, olumsuz değişim karşısında ise direnç göstermektedir. İslam Hukuku Metodolojisi kendi içinde gerek değişim araçlarını, gerekse olumsuz değişimlere karşı direnç gösterecek yöntemleri içermektedir.

A is well known social chane is an inevitable fact for every society. There is a strict relation between law and social change. For this reason in every community social establishments should be ready for change. According to the general view, Islamic law does not oppose but gives permission to the social change. But this permission does not mean that it supports every kinds of social change. It is possible to formulate Islamic Law’a strategies for social change as follows: Islamic Law supports and encourages positive social change and oppose negative one without compensating from its main aim of developing a societ based on justice and rights. Islamic Law Methodology contains social change instruments and methods which show how Muslims can oppose to negative changes.
