FEN VE TEKNOLOJİ DERSLERİNDE GAZETELERİN KULLANILMASI

Fen ve teknoloji dersi konuları günlük yaşam ile yakından ilişkilidir. Bu nedenle, günlük yaşam ile fen ve teknoloji derslerini ilişkilendirmek, dersleri eğlenceli hale getirir ve öğrencilerin derse karşı olumlu tutum geliştirmelerini sağlar. Fen ve teknoloji dersi amaçlarının günlük yaşamla ilişki kurmaya yönelik olması ve gazetelerin bu dersin kazanımlarına yönelik verileri içermesi, bu dersin gazete kullanımı ile uygunluğunu göstermektedir. Bu araştırmada ülkemizde fen eğitiminde gazete kullanımının öneminin vurgulanması ve gazetelerden fen derslerinde nasıl faydalanılacağının derinlemesine tartışılması amaçlanmış, fen eğitiminde gazetelerden nasıl faydalanılacağının daha iyi anlaşılması için örnek 2 ders etkinliği ayrıntılı olarak sunulmuştur.

USING OF NEWSPAPER IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COURSES

Topics in science and technology course’s topics are related closely to daily life. Therefore, relating science and technology course to daily life makes lessons entertaining and makes students to develop positive attitudes towards science. Being the aims of science and technology course for establishing relationship with daily life and being the newspapers including data about this course’s aims, shows this course’s relevance with using newspaper. In this research, it was aimed to emphasizing the importance of using newspaper in science education in our country and discussing how newspapers can be used in science and technology course in depth, 2 lesson plans are presented for understanding how the newspapers can be used in science and technology course better.
