Effect of social well-being of hospital employees on job and life satisfaction

The aim of this study is to determine the social well-being of hospital staff under job and life satisfaction with the equality model in the network. The universe of the study, Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Hospital staff. Correlation analysis and structural equation modeling methods were used in the study. According to the structural equality model, a one-unit increase in the social acceptance dimension leads to unit increase in the internal and external dimension. One unit increase in confidence was found to result in unit increase in life satisfaction, internal and external dimensions. Furthermore, a one-unit increase in the size of social respectability led to unit decrease in the internal and external dimension, while a one-unit increase in the social impact dimension led to decrease in the internal and external dimension. The hospital management should provide employees with a happy and peaceful working environment and develop plans and policies that will improve their job and life satisfaction. This will contribute to lower personnel turnover rate, improved quality of health services, increased employee and patient satisfaction, financial sustainability, and increased profitability and productivity in the long term.
