Öz Özet 21.yüzyıla girerken dünya ekonomisinin geçmiş dönemlerle kıyaslandığında köklü değişiklikler geçirdiği gözlenmektedir. Genel olarak 'Yeni Ekonomi' olarak tanımlanan bu değişim süreci bireylere, firmalara ve ülke ekonomilerine kolaylık­lar getirmekle birlikte, özellikle devleti ekonomi içindeki rolüne ilişkin yapısal bir değişime zorlamaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı ekonomi ve rekabet yapılarındaki yaşanan değişimi irde­leyerek yeni sisteme uygun politikaları üretebilecek devlet yapısını araştırmaktır. While this process of transformation which is defined as 'New Economy' generates some beneficies to people, firms and national economies, it also enforces state to impose structural changes with respect to its role in the economy.
