Antakya kentini ikiye bölen Asi nehrinin doğusundaki bölge ile Habib-i Neccar (Silpius) dağı arasında kalan yerleşim yeri içerisinde yer alan geleneksel Antakya evleri mimarisi ile kendine has özelliklere sahiptir. Geleneksel Antakya evleri kent sakinlerinin belleğinde ve anılarında önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Kent sakinleri ve halen evlerde yaşayan bireylerle yapılan görüşmeler aracılığıyla maddi kültür unsuru olarak ele alınan Antakya Evlerinin zaman içerisinde geçirdiği değişimler gözlenmiş ve Antakya Evlerinin kullanımı ve anlamlandırılma biçimleri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada etnografik araştırma yöntemleri kullanılırken söylem analizinde fenomenolojik yöntemden yararlanılmıştır. Abstract Traditional Antakya houses, located between the eastern part of the Orontes River that seperates the city into two parts and Mount Habib-i Neccar (Silpius) have idiosyncratic features in view of architecture. Traditional Antakya houses have a special place in the minds and memoirs of the locals. Traditional Antakya houses are regarded as material culture elements and the changes on them within ages has been studied through the interviews with the dwellers and the residents of the houses and then it is aimed to perceive the usage and interpretation of the houses by the dwellers. Etnographic research methods were used during the study and the phenomenological research methods were used for the discourse analysis.
