Dizel motorları yardımcı ekipmanlarındaki gelişmeler

Dizel motorlarından kaynaklanan partikul emisyonları(PM) oksitler $(NO^x)$ insan sağlığı ve çevremiz için ciddi problemdir. Dizel motorlarındaki gelişmelerin başlıca konusu bu iki emisyonun belirli sınırlar dahilinde olmasını sağlamaktır. 2005 yılında geçilmesi planlanan Euro 4 emisyon standartları ultra düşük emisyon oranlarını getirmektedir. Motor firmalarının sürekli olarak dizaynı üzerine çalışması, motor emisyonlarının çevresel etkisini minimize etmek içindir. Yüksek basınçlı enjeksiyon teknolojisi, egzoz gaz resürkilasyonu, değişken geometrili turboşarj partikül filtresi, katalitik konvertör vb. gibi gelişmeler ile emisyon oranlarının düşürülmesi, bunun yanında dizel motor performansının artırılması hedeflenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, dizel motorları yardımcı ekipmanlarındaki gelişmeler incelenmektedir

Particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides $(NO^x)$ , emissions from diesel engines are a serious problem for human health and environment. Fundamental topic of the developments in diesel engines is to provide these two emissions within specific limits. Euro 4 exhaust emission standards planned to use in 2005 demand ultra low emissions in the vehicles Engine companies have continuously worked on engine design in order to minimize the environmental influence of exhaust emissions. Reduced diesel exhaust emissions and improved engine power output are the targets of the developments such as high pressure injection technology exhaust gas recirculation, variable geometry turbo charge, particulate filter and catalytic converter in diesel engines. In this paper, developments in auxiliary equipments of diesel engines are investigated.
