Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin Avrupa Birliği’ne giriş ve uyum sürecinde, finansal yeniden yapılanması boyutu altında, şirket birleşmeleri incelenerek, şirket birleşme ve devralmaların gelişimi ve deneyimler araştırılmıştır.Çalışmada şirket birleşmelerinin performans ve etkinlik üzerine etkileri, hisse senedi fiyatı boyutunda incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla İMKB’de işlem gören işletmelerin birleşme öncesi ve sonrası hisse senedi fiyatları ele alınıp, şirketlerin aşırı kazançları hesaplanmış ve yatırımcı açısından getiri değişimleri saptanan farklı zaman aralıklarında, analiz edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre İ.M.K.B.’da işlem gören şirketlerin hisse senetlerine, birleşme öncesi yatırım yaparak uzun vadede normalin üzerinde bir getiri elde edilemeyeceği, ancak birleşme öncesi çok kısa vadede T±5 gün, yatırım yapılarak normalin üzerinde bir getiri elde edilebileceği görülmüştür.

(Effects of Corporate Combinations on Stock Prices: Analyze of Stocks of Food Companies Trading on the Stock Exchange of IMKB) In this study, corporate combinations are investigated in the process of Turkey's adaptation to the European Union in respect of financial restructuring and development of corporate combinations and acquisitions are studied. The effects of corporate combinations on performance and efficiency are investigated taking into considering stock price. For this purpose, before and after combinations of stock prices of the corporations, which are trading on the stock exchange of IMKB, are considered and excess profits of the corporations are calculated and then they are evaluated by analyzing in the difference time intervals at profit changes from the point of view of the investor. Analysis results show that no excessive profit can be generated over the long term by investing at corporations of IMKB before the combination process but excessive profit can be generated over the very short term of ±5 days.
