10. Dünya Muhasebe Eğitimcileri Kongresi 9-11 Kasım 2006 tarihinde İstanbul’ da Lütfü Kırdar Kongre Merkezinde yapılmıştır. Kongreye globalleşme, muhasebe stan-dartları ve eğitim teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler damgasını vurmuştur. Bu gelişmeler, muhasebe eğitimcilerini, dünyadaki gelişmeleri daha yakından izleme ve daha dinamik olmaya zorlamaktadır. Muhasebe bilgisinin ilerleyen yıllarda alacağı boyut, ülkemizdeki muhasebe eğitimini de etkileyebilecektir.

The 10th World Congress of Accounting Educators was held November 9-11, 2006 in İstanbul Lutfi Kırdar Convention Centre. Globalization, accounting standards and education technologies, which force the accounting educators to follow the global developments closely, were among the significant features of the congress. It is estimated that the level of accounting knowledge in the upcoming years will draw the circumstances of accounting education.
