Hıristiyanlıkta Logos Doktrini The Doctrine of Logos in Christianity

The Doctrine of Logos in Christianity

After doctrine of Logos had been discussed by Heraclitus, Plato, Stoics, Philo and Jewish philosophers, it is transferred to the theology and philosophy of Christianity via the Gospel of John. In this article, first, some brief information about historical background of the doctrine has been given. Then, the beings that have been existed before the universe created (Eternal Messiah, Holy Spirit and Logos) in the New Testament were also examined. In this paper, the ideas of early time Christian theologians about the doctrine of Logos and its relation between the trinity also have been shown by classifying their opinions. In conclusion, our findings are presented as a summary and some assessments have been done on the relations of philosophy and theology in Christianity in terms of the doctrine of Logos.
