DETERMINING OF E-HEALTH LITERACY LEVELS OF STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES

This study was carried out to determine the e-health literacy levels of the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences and to determine whether the demographic characteristics of the students are effective on e-health literacy. The universe of the study consisted of students studying at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Health Sciences in 2016-2017 (N = 1621). “E-Health Literacy Scale (eHEALS)” which was developed by Norman and Skinner (2006a) and adapted by Coşkun and Bebiş (2015) to Turkish, has been used to determine e-health literacy level of students. According to the results obtained; e-health literacy levels of the students participating in the study were determined to be medium and high (mean 29.48). It is recommended for studies on improvement of e-health literacy levels of the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
