ÖzetModem fiziğin makrö alemde (atom-üstü seviyede) en önemli teorisi izafiyet teorisidir. Fizik açısından bu kadar önemli olan bu teorinin felsefi açıdan da pek çok kayda değer sonucu olmuştur. Bu makalede önce izafiyet teorisi kısaca tanıtılacak, sonra bu teorinin felsefi sonuçlarından sadecedin felsefesi açısından önemli gördüğümüz birkaçma değinilecektir. İlk olarak izafiyet teorisinin, postmodernizmin en merkezi görüşlerinden olan 'değerlerin izafiliği' ile bir ilgisi olup olmadığı irdelenerek, 'değerlerin izafiliği' ile bir ilgisi olmadığı gösterilmeye çal!.§ılacaktır. İkinci olarak buteorinin milyarlarca yıllık zaman süreçlerini  önemsizleştirmesinin, Tanrı-evren il~kisini anlaY!.§tarzınuza· ne şekilde açılımlar getirebileceği ele alınacaktır. Son olarak ise bu teorinin, tektanncı dinlerin bazı inançlarının anlaşılına tarzına sağlayabileceği katkılar incelenecektir.Anahtar Kelimeler: izafiyet teorisi, din felsefesi, Einstein, değerler, Tanrı ve evren, Tanrı ve zaman.AbstractThe most irnportant theory of modem physics of the macro world is the theory of relativity. This theory, which is so important for physics, has many relevant results from a philosophical point of view as well. In this article we shall first of all briefly present the relativity theory and la ter touchupon a few of the philosophical results of this theory that we cansicler im portant from the point of view of the philosophy of religion. First, we shall investigate whether the theory of relativity is related or not with the 'relativity of values' that is one of the most central tenets of postmodemism,and we s hall try to show that this theoty is not actually' related to the 'relativity of values.' Secondly, we shall investigate how the fiıct that this theory, which has made irrelevant processes that last billions of years, can also open up new insights in the way we perceive the relation betweenGod and the universe. Thirdly, we shall analyze the contributions that this theory can make to the way certain elements of faith of theistic religions can be undersrood.Key Words: The theory of relativity, philosophy of religion, Einstein, values, Gad and universe, Gad and time.
