Özetİnsanın, biri maddi cevher olan beden, diğeri madde-d~ı cevher olan ruh olmak üzere iki ayrı cevhcrdcn mi, yoksa sadece maddi cevherden mi olu§tuğu sorunu, zihin felsefesi ve din felsefesi gibi felsefe dallan açısından önemli'bir tarr~ma konusudur. Bu makalede önce bilimsel ve felsefiaçıdan bu sorunun çözülemediği ve bu yüzden bu hususta agnostik kalmanın en tutarlı yol olduğu gösterilmeye çal~ılacaktır. Bunun için, materyalizmin zihni, ba§arıyla açıklayabildiği görü§ünc karşı bilincin indirgcnemezliği ve öznclliğiylc, maddc-d~ı bir cevher olarak ruhun gerekliliğiyleilgili iqdialara karşı ise bu yakla§ımın ispatlanamazlı~'1 ve alternatiflerinin de mümkün olduğu görüşüyle karşı çıkılacaktır. Daha sonra ise teist dinlerin kutsal metinlcri, Tanrı tasavvurlan, özgür irade ve yeniden yaratıl~ inançlan açısından da, yani teolojik açıdan da agnostik tutumumuzusürdürebileceğimizi gösterip 'teolojik agnostik' tavnmızı temcllendirmeye çal~acağız.Anahtar Kelimeler: Dualizm, ruh, insan doğası, yapay zeka, bilinç, din felsefesi, zihin felsefesi, yeniden yaratıl~, Searlc, Pcnrose.Ahstractlt has always been an im portant issue for philosophy of mind and philosophy of rcligion, whcthcrhuman beings were formed from two scparate substances, namely a material substancc that is body and a non-matetial substance that is soul, or that they werc formed only from material substancc. In this articlc, wc will rry to demonstrate that this issuc can not be solved by scientific studies and philosophy and so the most consistcnt way will be to detcrmine an agnostic approach. For this reason, we will opposc to the view that materialism had successfully explaincd the mindwith irreducibility and subjectivity of consciousness,. and wc will oppose to the idea of the necessity of soul as a seperate substance by presenting that altemative views are also possiblc.
