Sentinel lenf nodu biyopsisi donrası her iki memede metilen mavisine karşı gelişen alerjik reaksiyon
Sentinel lenf nodu biyopsisi SLNB meme kanserinin evrelemesinde standart yaklaşımdır. Mavi boya, lenfosintigrafi ve sentimag SLNB için tanımlanmış önemli metotlardır. Diğer iki yöntemle kıyaslandığında mavi boya kullanımı daha yaygın ve daha ekonomiktir. Patent mavisi, izosülfan mavisi ve metilen mavisi sentinel lenf nodunun SLN tespiti için kullanılan üç önemli temel boyalardır. Metilen mavisi diğer mavi boyalara göre çok daha kolay ulaşılabilir ve daha ucuzdur. Metilen mavisinin meme kanseri ameliyatı esnasında parankime enjekte edilmesi güvenlidir ancak bazı olgularda alerjik reaksiyonlar bildirilmiştir. Bu olguda 83 yaşında, sağ taraf meme kanserli, kadın hasta sunulmuştur. Hasta segmental mastektomi ve SLNB ile tedavi edildi. SLNB için metilen mavisi kullanıldı. Ameliyattan sonra her iki memede eritem görüldü. Vaka takdiminin amacı metilen mavisine karşı gelişen bu nadir alerjik reaksiyonu sunmaktır.

Allergic reaction against methylene blue in both of the breasts after sentinel lymph node biopsy
The sentinel lymph node biopsy SLNB is the gold standard in staging of breast cancer. Blue dye, lymphoscintigraphy and sentimag are three main methods described for SLNB. Blue dye use for SLNB is more cost-effective when compared to other two methods. Patent blue, isosulfan blue and methylene blue are vital dyes, which are used to identify the sentinel lymph node SLN . Methylene blue is easily available and less expensive than other dyes. Injection of methylene blue into the parenchyma to identify SLN is safe during breast cancer operation, although in some cases allergic reactions have been reported. In this case a 83 years old female patient with right side breast cancer has presented. The patient was treated with partial mastectomy and SLNB. Methylene blue dye was used for SLNB. After operation erythema has seen in both of the breasts. The aim of the case report is to present this rare allergic reaction against methylene blue dye.
