Yerli ve Yabancı Futbol Kulüplerinin Transfer Harcamaları Bağlamında Etkinliklerinin Karşılaştırılması

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2012-2013 sezonunda Fenerbahçe,Beşiktaş ve Galatasaray futbol kulüpleri ile Avrupa ülkelerinden seçilen15 futbol kulübünün transfer harcamaları bağlamında göreliperformans etkinliklerini analiz etmektir. Çalışmada, Veri ZarflamaAnalizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlaragöre, sadece Borussia Dortmund %100 toplam teknik etkinlikve ölçek etkinliğine sahiptir. Türkiye’de etkinlik değerlerine göre,Beşiktaş 18 takım içerisinde ilk dört takım arasına girerken, Fenerbahçeorta sıralarda, Galatasaray ise son sıralarda yer almıştır.

Comparison Of The Performance Of Turkish And European Footbal Clubs In Terms Of The Efficiency Of Transfer Expenditures

The objective of this study is to analyze the performanceof Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and 15 selected footballclubs from Europe. The study covering 2012/13 season employsData Envelopment Analysis. The results indicate that only BorussiaDortmund has 100 % total technical efficiency and scale efficiency.According to the efficiency scores, when the clubs are divided intothree groups, Besiktas took place among the top 4, Fenerbahce inthe middle group and Galatasaray in the bottom group in Turkey.
