Kamu borçlanması,sermaye stoku ve tüketim ilişkisinin belirlenmesi : Bir ardışık nesiller modeli

Bu çalışmada 1998 yılı Türkiye Ekonomisi için kurulmuş 55 nesilli ardışık nesiller dinamik genel denge modeli çerçevesinde, 1,5 ve 10 yıllık gelir vergisi indirimleri sonucu kamu borçlanmasında meydana gelecek artışın, sermaye stoku ve farklı nesillerin tüketim imkânları üzerindeki olası etkileri incelenmiştir. Kamu borçlanmasındaki artışın sermaye stokunda önemli düşüşlere yol açabileceği, ancak nesillerin tümü üzerinde tüketimi arttırıcı yönde etki yaptığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Diğer yandan yapılan simülasyonlar, vergi indiriminin süresinin de sermaye stokundaki azalma üzerinde önemli etkilere yol açtığını göstermiştir.

Specifying the relationship between public debt, capital stock and consumption : an overlapping generations model

In this study, the possible effects of public debt accumulation on the capital stock and the consumption possibilities of different generations as a result of the income tax cut which duration is 1,5 and 10 years, has been examined in line with the overlapping generations dynamic general equilibrium model, consists of 55 generations, constructed for the Turkish economy representing the year 1998. The results of the study indicate that increases in the public debt may cause important decreases in the capital stock, while it may increase the consumption possibilities of all generations. On the other hand, the simulations show that the duration of the tax cut causes important effects on the decrease of the capital stock.
