Say1ca 9ok az (ama onemleri 9ok bi.iytik) roman yazmasma kar§m, ilgin9 bir liberal dii§iiniir olarak ya da D.H. Lawrence, Virginia Woolf, Bertrand Russell, Lytton Stratchey gibi ytizyilm en onemli yazar ve dii§iintirlerinin dostu olmas1 ona bir tin veriyordu. Hakkmda ara§tlfma yaz1s1 i.iretmek art1k bir endi.istri haline gelen Bloomsbury grubunun da iiyesi olan Forster o gruptaki pek 9ok arkada§l gibi e§cinseldi.

This paper analyses the quest for sexual identity by homosexual writers at the tum of the twentieth century. In E. M. Forster's Maurice, this quest is contexualized by the study of the early twentieth century English legal system and the intellectual milieu.Assist.
