Acil Tıbba Farklı Biir Bakış: İlaç sektörünün gözünden Acil Tıp
GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Sağlık bakanlığı 2014 yılı istatistiklerine göre sağlık bakanlığına bağlı kurumlarda 292 milyon hasta bakılırken acil muayene edilen hasta sayısı 87 milyon olmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı ürün tanıtım elemanlarının(ÜTE) acil tıp konusundaki bilgi düzeyini değerlendirmek, acil tıbbın ilaç sektörünün gözünden nasıl göründüğünü tasvir etmek ve her iki organizasyonun arasındaki iletişimin artırılmasına katkıda bulunmaktır. YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Araştırma 01.09.2013 ile 01.03.14 tarihleri arasında acil servislere çalışan veya aynı bölge yöneticisine bağlı olan ancak acil servislere çalışıp çalışmadığı bilinmeyen 266 ÜTE ile anket yoluyla yapılmıştır. Anketlerden “Acil Tıp Konusundaki Bilgi Düzeyi Puanı” elde edilmiş ve değerlendirmeler bu puanlama üzerinden yapılmıştır. Verilerden sonra genel olarak ÜTE’lerin Acil Tıp konusunda bilgi düzeyleri ve bakış açısını içeren konularda bilgilere ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. BULGULAR: 266 ÜTE’nin sektör deneyimlerine bakıldığında %17,3’ü 1-3 yıl, %19,9’u 4-5 yıl, %38,3’ü ve %24,4’ü 10 yıl üzeri sektör deneyimi olduğu görülmektedir. Acil tıbba ilişkin bilgi düzeyini ölçen sorulardan çıkarılan sonuçlara göre puanlar 0-90 arasında değişmekte olup ortalama “Acil Tıp Konusundaki Bilgi Düzeyi Puanı” 32,78±17,60 olduğu bulunmuştur. TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: İlaç sektörünün Acil hekimleriyle birebir diyalog kuran temsilcileri olan ÜTE’lerin Acil Tıp ile ilgili bilgi düzeyleri düşüktür. Acil Tıp ve İlaç sektörünün temsilcileri, aralarındaki iletişim ve bilgilendirmeyi artıracak yeni yöntemler üzerinde çalışarak bu durumun düzeltilmesine katkı sağlamalıdır.
A different view of Emergency Medicine:: Emergency medicine with a view of the pharmaceutical industry
INTRODUCTION: In the Ministry of Health 2014 statistics, about 292 million patients were treated by the ministryaffiliated institutions while the number of emergency patients was 87 million. Aim of this study is to assess the level of knowledge of the medical representatives in the field of emergency medicine, to illustrate how emergency medicine looks in the eyes of the pharmaceutical industry, and to contribute to the enhancement of communication between the two organizations. METHODS: The study was conducted through questionnaires with 266 medical representatives working in emergency departments or in the same group with the same region manager between 01.09.2013- 30 01.03.14. "Knowledge Level Points in Emergency Medicine" were obtained from the questionnaires and the evaluations were made with these scores. After the data, it was tried to reach the information about the contents and points of view of the product promotion staff about Emergency Medicine. RESULTS: The scores of 266 medical representatives ranged from 0 to 90 points in the questionnaire results and mean "Knowledge Level Point in Emergency Medicine" was 32,7817,60. 17,3% of the medical representatives had 1-3 years experience, 19,9 %4-5 years, 38,3% and 24,4 %10 years experience in the sector. When examining the best dialogue with emergency specialists, 32.3% said that they had a better dialogue at evening and 28.9% said they had a better dialogue at night. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Medical representatives are less knowledgeable about Emergency Medicine.New methods to increase communication between the emergency medicine and the pharmaceutical sector should be studied.
