İlk olarak 2019 Aralık Ay’ında Çin’in Hubei Eyaleti’nin Wuhan kentinde ortaya çıkan yeni koronavirüs, yeni tanımlanan bir virüs olmasından çok yaptığı küresel pandemi ile 2020 yılına damgasını vurmuştur. Acil hemşireleri bu süreçte savaşın öncü birlikleri olarak yerini almıştır. Bu savaşta koronavirüs hastaları için ayrı bir triyaj sisteminin ve fiziki alanının oluşturulması, korunma yöntemleri konusunda Dünya Sağlık Örgütü’nün başlangıçtaki yetersiz bildirimleri, hastane yöneticilerinin maske, önlük, siperlik, koruyucu tulum gibi malzemelerin kullanılması ve sağlanması konusunda göstermiş olduğu kaygı, karmaşanın büyümesinde temel neden olmuştur. Pandemi sürecinin acil hemşireleri bakış açısıyla görülebilen ve meslektaşlarımızdan gelen tüm bu sorunların çözüm önerileri sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.

We tried to offer solutions to the problems of the pandemic that were experienced by emergency nurses and that come from our colleagues.
