Abdominoplastide Hemşirelik Bakımı

Abdominoplasti, karın ön duvarındaki fazla deri ve yağın rezekte edilerek, gerektiğinde zayıflamış ve birbirinden ayrılmış kasların onarılıp eski durumuna getirilmesidir. Daha düz, sağlam ve sağlıklı bir abdominal görünüm sağlamak amacıyla günümüzde yaygın olarak uygulanan abdominoplasti majör cerrahi girişimlerden biridir. Bu cerrahi girişim ile aşırı kilo verme ve çoklu gebeliklere bağlı oluşan gevşeme ve sarkma problemleri düzeltilirken, hastaların beden imgesi ve yaşam kalitesi de iyileşmektedir. Ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası dönemde hastanın fiziksel ve psikososyal olarak değerlendirilmesi, uygun hemşirelik bakımı için son derece önemlidir. Abdominoplasti sonrası hemşirelik bakımında pozisyon verme, korse kullanımı, ağrının yönetimi, solunum sistemi fonksiyonlarının sürdürülmesi, beslenme, hareket aktivitesi ve yara bakımı konuları özellik göstermektedir. Bu derleme makalede amaç, hemşirelere abdominoplasti uygulanan hastanın bakımının planlanmasında bir kaynak oluşturmaktır.

Nursing Care in Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty is the repair of weakened and separated muscles when necessary by resecting the excess skin and fat in the anterior abdominal wall. Abdominoplasty is one of the most common surgical procedures performed today to provide a smoother, flatter, and healthier abdominal appearance. This surgical procedure improves the patient's body image and quality of life while correcting the loosening and sagging problems due to excessive weight loss and multiple pregnancies. Physical and psychosocial evaluation of the patient before and after the operation is extremely important for proper nursing care. In post-abdominoplasty nursing care, the patient’s positioning, corset use, pain management, respiratory system maintenance, nutrition, movement activity, and wound care are all significant issues. The purpose of this review article is to provide a resource for nurses to plan the care of patients who have undergone abdominoplasty.
