Çocuk Psikiyatri Hastalarynda Yaty? Süresine Etki Eden Faktörler

Amaç: Ülkemizde yatakly hizmet veren çocuk ve ergenpsikiyatri kliniklerinin sayysynyn az olmasy nedeniyle bu ya?grubunda literatürde kysytly veri bulunmaktadyr. Bu çaly?mada Samsun Ondokuz Mayys Üniversitesi Typ FakültesiPsikiyatri Servisi'ne yatarak sa?altym gören çocuk veergenlerde yaty? süresine etki eden faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmy?tyr. Yöntem: Ocak 2013 - Aralyk 2015tarihleri arasynda Ondokuz Mayys Üniversitesi PsikiyatriServisinde yatarak tedavi gören ve ya?lary 11-18 arasyndade?i?en 194 çocuk ve ergen hastanyn hastane kayytlaryretrospektif olarak incelenmi?tir. Yaty? süreleri ve çokluyaty?a etki edebilecek klinik ve sosyodemografik verileriçin ANOVA ve logistik regresyon analizleri yapylmy?tyr.Bulgular: Çaly?maya alynan hastalaryn 138'i kyz, 56'syerkek cinsiyetteydi. hastalaryn en fazla aldy?y yaty? tanysyMajor Depresif Bozukluk'du (n: 79, %41.1) ve ortalamayaty? süresi 8.43 gündü. Ortalama yaty? süresi en uzunolan grup Psikotik Bozukluk grubuydu (n: 17, ort: 19.92gün, p: 0.01). Çoklu yaty? risk faktörleri için yapylan lojistik regresyon analizinde; kyz cinsiyetin (OR: 2.02) ve MDBtanysynyn (OR: 1.51) çoklu yaty? için risk olu?turdu?u saptandy. Sonuç: Çaly?mamyzda Major Depresif Bozukluk vekyz cinsiyette olmanyn çoklu yaty?lar için risk faktörüoldu?u gözlemleni?tir. Hastalara ait klinik ve sosyodemografik özellikler tedavi plany içerisinde hastaneye yaty?için öngörücü olabilir

Factors Effecting Length of Stay in Child Psychiatry Hospital Setting

Object: Due to the low number of children and adultpsychiatric clinics serving in our country, there is limiteddata in this age group in the literature. In this study, itwas aimed to determine the factors affecting the duration of admission in children and adolescents receivingtreatment in Samsun Ondokuz Mayys University MedicalFaculty Psychiatry Clinic. Methods: Hospital records of194 children and adolescents aged between 11 and 18years who were hospitalized at Ondokuz MayysUniversity Psychiatric Service between January 2013 andDecember 2015 were retrospectively reviewed. ANOVAand logistic regression analyzes were performed for clinical and sociodemographic data that could effect hospitalization times and multiple admission. Results: 138of the patients were female and 56 were male. Majordepressive disorder patients (n: 79, 41.1%) and the average duration of hospitalization were 8.43 days. Thegroup with the longest mean duration of admission wasthe Psychotic Disorder group (n: 17, mean: 19.92 days,p: 0.01). In logistic regression analysis for multiple riskfactors, Female gender (OR: 2.02) and MDD diagnosis(OR: 1.51) were found to be risk factors for multipleadmission. Discussion: In our study, it was observed thatthe presence of Major Depresive Disorder and femalegender was a risk factor for multiple admission. Clinicaland sociodemographic features of the disease can bepredictive of hospitalization within the treatment plan.
