Kars Platosu Bombus Faunası

Bu çalışma Kars platosunun Bombus faunasının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, Kars merkez ve ilçelerinden Haziran 2006, Ağustos 2009 tarihleri arasında çeşitli çayır ekosistemlerinden Bombus örnekleri toplandı. Değerlendirmeler sonucu Bombus cinsine ait 15 tür ve alttür tespit edildi. Bu türler; Bombus zonatus, Bombus mesomelas, Bombus armeniacus, Bombus ruderarius, Bombus sylvarum daghestanicus, Bombus humilis, Bombus portschi nsky, Bombus hortorum, Bombus lucorum, Bombus cullumanus, Bombus niveatus, Bombus sichelii, Bombusincertus, Bombus sylvestris, Bombus barbutellus’dir. Kars platosunda tespit edilen türler ülkemizden daha önce bilinen türler olup, sadece Bombus sichelii ülkemizde ender rastlanan tür olması açısından önemlidir. Çalışmada tespit edilen bu türlerin ayrıt edici taksonomik özellikleri tanımlandı.
