Kuru dönem başlangıcında subklinik mastitisli ineklerden izole edilen stafilokok suşlarında metisilin direnci

Bu çalışmada, subklinik mastitisli süt ineklerinden izole edilen stafilokok suşlanndaki metisilin direnci araştırıldı. 82 adet inekten alınan 328 süt numunesi, California Mastitis Test (CMT) ile suhklinik mastitis yönünden incelendi. CMT pozitif bulunan 14ü (%42.7) süt örneğinde yapılan bakteriyolojik incelemelerde 122 (%87.1)'sinde mikroorganizma izole edildi, izole edilen toplam 168 mikroorganizmadan 86 (%51.2)'sı stafilokok vs 82 (%48.8)'si diğer mikroorganizmalar olarak identifiye edildi. İzole edilen toplam 86 stafilokok susunun 23 (%> 26.7)'ü koagulaz pozitif Sıaphylococcus aurcus, 63 (% 73.3)'ü ise koagulaz negatif stafilokok (KNS) susu olarak tespit edileli, incelenen Staphylococcus aureus suşlarının 2 (% 8.7)'si metisiline dirençli iken, 19 (%82.6)'u metisiline duyarlı bulundu. Buna karşılık KNS suşlarının l (%1.6)'inin metisiline dirençli, 62 (%98.4)'siııin ise metisiline duyarlı olduğu tespit edildi. 2 (%8.7) Sıaphylococcus aureus susunda metisiline orta derece duyarlılık saptanırken, KNS'lerde orta derece duyarlılık görülmedi.

Methicillin resistance in staphylococci strains isolated from dairy cows with subclinical mastitis the onset of the dry period

In this study, the resistance of methicillin in Staphylococci strains isolated from dairy cows with subclinical mastitis were investigated. 328 milk samples collected from 82 dairy cows were examined for subclinical mastitis with California Mastitis Test (CMT). 140 (42,7%) milk samples were found positive by CMT. In bacteriological examination of CMT positive milk samples. 122 (87.1%) were found positive. Of total 168 microorganisms isolated from 122 milk samples, 86 (5 1.2%) Staphylococci and 82 (48.8%) other microorganisms were identified. Of the isolated Staphylococci, 23 (26.7%) were coagulase positive Staphylococcus aureus and 63 (73.3%) coagulase negative Staphylococci (CNS). Two of the 23 Staphylococcus aureus strains (8.7%) were found resistant to methicillin while 19 of the Staphylococcus aureus strains (82.6%) were found sensitive. On the other hand. 1 of the 63 (73.3%-) CNS strains were found resistant to methicillin ( 1.6%) while 62 (98.4%) of the CNS strains were found sensitive. In addition, 2 of the 23 Staphylococcus . aureus strains (8.7%( were found intermediate to methicillin while CNS strains were not found intermediate sensitive to melhicillin.
