İki melez buzağıda diprosopus

Kafkas Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Doğum ve Jinekoloji Anabilim Dalı Kliniğine getirilen ölü doğmuş iki adet dişi melez buzağıda inspeksiyon ve radyolojik muayene sonucunda diprosopus’tan şüphelenildi. Yapılan patolojik-anatomik incelemede, her iki buzağıda da, iki ayrı kafatasının median hatta birbiriyle yapışmış oldukları görüldü. Bu oluşumun, atlantooccipital eklem bölgesine kadar çift, bu bölümden sonra ise tek bir vücut olarak devam ettiği tespit edildi.

Diprosopus in two cross-breed calves

Diprosopus was suspected from two stillborn, crossbred, female calves brought to Department of Reproduction and Artificiel Insemination Clinics of the Veterinary Faculty, University of Kafkas upon clinical inspection and radiological examination. Pathologic-anatomical examination revealed two separate cranium enclosed in the median line forming two distinct face formation. This formation was duplicate until to the atlantooccipital region, after this location it showed a single continium formation.
