ÜLKELERİN LOJİSTİK PERFORMANSLARININ BELİRLEYİCİLERİ

Bu çalışmada 2007-2014 döneminde 71 ülke için Havuzlanmış Panel Veri analizi kullanılarak Lojistik Performans Endeksinin (LPI) makroekonomik ve politik belirleyicileri ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Makroekonomik belirleyiciler için GSYH, dış açıklık ve Doğrudan Yabancı Sermaye Yatırımları (FDI) kullanırken, politik değişkenler için ICRG Tablo 3B'de yer alan değişkenler kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde, GSYH ve dış açıklık, LPI'yi açıklayan önemli makroekonomik değişkenler olduğunu tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra demokratik hesap verebilirlik ve dış karışıklığın ülkelerin lojistik performanslarını belirlemede etkili olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur

Determinants of Countries’ Logistic Performances

In this paper, we examine macroeconomic and political determinants of Logistic Performance Index (LPI) using Pooled Panel Data Analysis for 71 countries during 2007-2014. GDP, openness and FDI for macroeconomic determinants and Table 3B of the ICRG for political variables were used. As a result of the findings, GDP and trade openness were determined important macroeconomic variables explaining LPI. Besides, democratic accountability and external conflict are effective in determining the logistical performances of countries
