İlahi Olan?ın Objektifleşme Alanı Olarak Tarih ve Tarihin Teolojik Yorumu

Whether there has been a progress in history is a question needs to be dealt with philosophically and theologically, i.e. only philosophy or theology of history can give sufficing answers to this question. For these two disciplines especially theology considers history not as a realm of chronos (just narrating historical events that have taken place chronologically) but as a realm of kairos (historic events that have everlasting effect on the future). In order to maintain that any event had a historic value which caused a diachronic development in history, history needs to be interpreted by humans who are homo hermeneuma by nature. On the other hand, whether there has been a progress in history requires a theological interpretation of history. Ttheology of history, in this context, as it depicts God as the Creator unfolding Himself through his Creatures (human beings, cosmos and history) throughout the history, will defend such a progress both in the past and in the future.
