Bu makale, Rodos Hafız Ahmet Ağa Kütüphanesi'nde bulunan XVI. yüzyıla ait 8 adet yazma eserin unvan sayfası tezhiblerinin incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi üzerine yazılmıştır. Makalenin amacı, kütüphanede yer alan yazmaların tüm san'at dalları açısından incelenmesini ve bunun sonucunda elde edilen bulgularla yeni bilgilere ulaşılmasını sağlamaktır. 1522'den 1912 senesine kadar bir Osmanlı diyarı olan Rodos'u ve burada yer alan kütüphaneyi gündeme taşımak ise nihai hedeftir. Makalenin girişinde Türk Tezhib San'atına dair kısa bir bilgi verildikten sonra, Rodos Hafız Ahmet Ağa Kütüphanesi hakkında bilgiler verilip, 8 örnek üzerinde eserlerin unvan sayfası tezhibleri değerlendirilmiştir.

This article is about the examination and evaluation of illumination of the title page of 8 pieces of manuscripts of the XVIth century located in Hafız Ahmet Aga Library of Rhodes. The purpose of the article is to facilitate the examination of the manuscripts in the library in terms of all the arts and as a result to reach new additional data. And finally we aim to bring Rhodes, the Ottoman realm from 1522 to 1912 and the library there on the agenda. At the introduction, Information on Turkish Illumination Art has been presented briefly. In addition, information about Hafız Ahmet Aga Library of Rhodes has been given and title page of the works of illumination on 8 samples has been evaluated.
