Örgütsel Bağlılık, İş Tatmini ve Özgecilik İlişkisi: Bir Kamu Kurumunda Araştırma
Amaç – Örgütsel bağlılık, özgecilik ve iş tatmini değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya koymak ve örgütsel bağlılığın özgecilik davranışına olan etkisinde iş tatmininin aracılık rolünün tespiti, örgütsel davranış alanında yapılan bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Yöntem – İlgili çalışmada kullanılan veriler, 2019 yılı Şubat-Mart döneminde bir kamu kurumunda görev yapmakta olan 212 uzman çalışandan anket yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. İstatistik paket programı aracılığıyla verilere uygun olarak korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri yapılarak değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler, değişkenlerin birbirleri üzerindeki etkileri ve örgütsel bağlılığın özgecilik davranışına olan etkisinde iş tatmininin aracılık rolü tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bulgular – Korelasyon analizi sonuçlarına göre örgütsel bağlılık, iş tatmini ve özgecilik arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen regresyon analizi sonuçları ise örgütsel bağlılığın özgecilik ve iş tatmini üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğunu ve iş tatmininin de özgecilik üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğunu göstermektedir. Öte yandan araştırma bulguları, örgütsel bağlılığın, özgecilik üzerindeki etkisinde iş tatmininin kısmi aracılık etkisinin olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Tartışma – Elde edilen tüm bu sonuçlara göre kamu çalışanlarının örgütsel bağlılık algılarının artması durumunda duydukları iş tatmini ve sergiledikleri özgecilik düzeylerinin de artacağı kabul edilmektedir. Aynı zamanda, kamu çalışanlarında duyulan iş tatmini düzeyinin artış göstermesiyle birlikte sergilenen özgecilik seviyesinde de artış olacağı kabul edilmiştir.
(The Relationship Between Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction, and Altruism: A Research on Public Servants)
Purpose – In this study about organizational behaviour, it is aimed to reveal that the relationships among organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and altruism and to determine the mediating role of job satisfaction on the effect of organizational commitment on altruism behavior. Design/methodology/approach – Research data were obtained in February-March 2019 from 212 expert servants working in public industry. By the SPSS 25, correlation and regression analyzes were conducted in accordance with the data. So, the relationships between the variables, the effects of the variables on each other and the mediating role of job satisfaction on the effect of organizational commitment on altruism behavior were tried to be determined. Findings – According to the results of correlation analysis, there are positive relationships between organizational commitment, job satisfaction and altruism. The results of the regression analysis show that organizational commitment has a significant effect on altruism and job satisfaction and job satisfaction has a significant effect on altruism. On the other hand, the findings of the research reveal that job satisfaction has a partial mediating effect on the effect of organizational commitment on altruism. Discussion – According to all these results, the altruism and job satisfaction levels of the public servants will increase if the perception of organizational commitment increases. At the same time, it can be stated that if the level of job satisfaction increases, altruism levels will increase too.
