Investigation some of the properties of fossil fuels and liquid biofuels blends for utilize at SI engines / Fosil ve Sıvı Biyoyakıtların SI Motorlarında Yararlı Hale Getirmek için Bazı Özelliklerinin Araştırılması

In this research work, gasoline fuel was considered as the base fuel. Bioethanol, biodiesel and diesel fuel were added to gasoline as additives. The fuel blends were first prepared on different volume basis and then, some important properties of the blends including density, dynamic viscosity, kinematic viscosity and water and sediment were evaluated by following ASTM test methods. The obtained data were analyzed and the results showed that increasing the volume percentage of bioethanol, biodiesel and diesel in fuel blends affect the fuel blends properties, these properties helped to identify the effected blended fuels to utilize at SI engine. At second step, 3 optimized blended fuels were selected based on the fuels properties (E20= 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline- GS1=10% ethanol, 2.5% biodiesel, 2.5% diesel and 85% gasoline- GS2= 18.1% ethanol, 4.31% biodiesel, 4.31% diesel and 73.28% gasoline). These optimized blended fuels were utilized in SI engine and the performance and emission parameters were analyzed. Özet: Bu araştırma çalışmasında, benzin yakıtı, gaz yakıt olarak düşünülmüştür. Biyoetanol, biyodizel ve dizel yakıtları katkı olarak benzine eklenmiştir. Öncelikle yakıt karışımları farklı hacimlerde hazırlanmıştır, sonrasında karışımların bazı önemli özellikleri, örneğin; yoğunluk dinamik viskozite, kinematik viskozite su ve çökelti takip eden ASTM test metotlarına gore hesaplanmıştır. Analizlerden elde edilen veriler ve sonuçlar gösterdi ki, karışımdaki biyoetanol, biyodizel ve dizel hacim oranlarının artması yakıt karışımının özelliklerini etkilemektedir ve bu özellikler SI motorlarında etkilenmiş yakıt karışımının kullanılmasının tanımlanmasına yardımcı olmaktadır. İkinci adımda, yakıt özellikleri (E20= %20 etanol ve %80 benzin- GS1=%10 etanol, %2.5 biyodizel, %2.5 dizel ve %82 benzin- GS2=%18.1 etanol, %4.31 biyodizel, %4.31 dizel ve %73.28 benzin) olan 3 optimize karıştırlımış yakıt seçilmiştir. Bu optimize karıştırılmış yakıtlar SI motorlarında kullanılmış ve performans ve emisyon parametreleri analiz edilmiştir.
