Bilgisayar üzerinden her siklusa ait kompresyon değerleri kaydedildi. 1’den 10’a kadar numaralandırılmış ölçek üzerinde yorgunluk derecelerini işaretlemeleri istendi. Bulgular: Göğüs kompresyonlarının ortalama derinliği 1.turda 56,33 mm, 2. turda 53,93 mm dir (P

THE EFFECT OF SMART WATCH USE ON CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSITATION

Introduction: Smart watches can be used like the cardiopulmonary resuscitation feedback devices with the sensors and applicable mobile software they contain. In our study, we studied the effect of using smart watches on chest compressions applied during resuscitation. Material and Method: Were asked 40 paramedics to perform chest compressions for 2 minutes in accordance with current guidelines, on a computer-assisted resuscitation manikin. Paramedics performed the classic application in the first round and application with smart watch in the second round. Compression values of each cycle were recorded via computer. They were asked to mark their degree of fatigue on a scale numbered from 1 to 10. Results: The average depth of chest compressions is 56.33 mm in round 1, 53.93 mm in round 2 (P
