Measurement of The Carbondioxide Emission of Soils Under Forest Cover

Main part of carbon is stored in world's soils in terrestrial ecosystems. Soils can be net sources or sinks of atmospheric CO2. Flux CO2 of soils is released into the atmosphere and is caused to global warming. Disagreement exists, about the effects of climate on the soil CO2 emissions. Aim of this study is to measure the CO2 flux of soils, and is examined climatic factors on CO2 flux. Soil CO2 flux was determined by SodaLime method. As a result of the study, soil CO2 flux ranged from 2.51 to 6.84 and mean was 4.05 g m-2 day. Soil emission was determined a positive correlation with relative humidity and the inner humidity of PVC container, and negative correlation with relative temperature and the inner temperature of PVC container. Negative correlations were found between relative humidity and temperature, and the inner humidity and temperature of PVC container. Results was shown that the study were of minor similarities with other researches in the world. This was showed an exact disagreement the climatic factors on the carbon emissions. To agree this topic, it is necessary to use automatic equipment has been accepted in the international arena and calibrated.
