2010 REFERANDUMUNDA TÜRK BASINININ SİYASAL GÜNDEMİ: HÜRRİYET, HABER TÜRK, ZAMAN VE YENİ ŞAFAK ÖRNEĞİYLE

Türkiye, siyasal bir deneyim olan referandum sürecini birçok kez yaşamış bir ülkedir. Anayasa değişikliğini içeren 2010 referandum süreci de bunlardan biridir. Ancak 2010 referandumu hem siyasi partiler hem de vatandaşlar tarafından siyasal bir tercih olarak algılandığı için diğer referandum tecrübelerinden ayrı bir konuma sahiptir. Referanduma ilişkin böyle bir algının varlığı referanduma giden sürecin de bir siyasal iletişim kampanyasına dönüşmesine neden olmuş ve böylelikle siyasal gündemin basında sunumu da tartışma konusu olmuştur. Özellikle medyaya yönelik geliştirilen ‘yandaş medya’ gibi tanımlama girişimlerinin güncelliğini koruduğu bir dönemde bu tartışma önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında referandum süreci içerisinde Türkbasınının siyasal gündemi Hürriyet, Haber Türk, Zaman ve Yeni Şafak gazeteleri örneğinde belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada adı geçen gazeteler içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda gazetelerin siyasal gündemi yansıtma konusunda birbirinden farklı bir yayın politikası içerisinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 

POLITICAL AGENDA OF THE TURKISH PRESS IN 2010 REFERENDUM: SAMPLE OF HÜRRİYET, HABER TÜRK, ZAMAN AND YENİ ŞAFAK

Turkey is a country that has been experienced many times referendum process which is political experience. 2010 Referendum process which contain constitutional amendment is one of them. But 2010 Referendum has different possition from other referandum experiences because of it was perceived as a political preferred by both of political party and citizen. This perception about referendum led to referendum process turn into a political communication campaign and in this manner presentation of the political agenda in the press was the subject of discussion. Especially this discussion is important at a time that developed descriptions for media like ‘partisan media’. In this study tried to determine that political agenda of Turkish press sample of Hürriyet, Haber Türk, Zaman and Yeni Şafak newspapers in the process of referendum. The newspapers examined with method of content analysis in the study. As a result of research determine that newspapers has a different editorial policy from others about presantation of political agenda.
