Üst gastrointestinal kanama ve Helikobakter pilori arasındaki bağlantı

Amaç: Üst gastrointestinal kanamalı çocuklarda Helikobakter pilori pozitifliğinin araştırılması. Yöntem: Çalışmaya alınan üst gastrointestinal kanamalı 19 çocuğa endoskopi uygulandı, histolojik, serolojik yöntemlerle ve üreaz testi ile Helikobakter pilorinin varlığı araştırıldı. Bulgular: 19 olgudan 10'unda (% 53) Helikobakter pilori bulundu. Endoskopik olarak duodenal ülser saptanan olguların % 66.0'smda Helikobakter pilori pozitif idi. Sonuç: Üst gastrointestinal kanama ile gelen olguların % 53'ünde Helikobakter pilori bulunması, bu hastalarda Helikobakter pilori pozitifliğinin araştırılması ve bulunduğunda tedavi edilmesi gerektiğini düşündürmektedir.

The relation between upper gastrointestinal heamorrhagia and Helicobacter pylori

Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the positivity of Helicobacter pylori on the patients with upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Methods: Nineteen children with upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage underwent endoscopie investigations of the upper gastrointestinal tract. Helicobacter pylori positivity was investigated by histological, serological methods, and urease test. Results: In 10 of 19 (53%) patients Helicobacter pylori was found to be positive. Helicobacter pylori positivity was identified in 66.0% of duodenal ulcer patients diagnosed with endoscopy. Conclusion: Since Helicobacter pylori was found to be positive in 53% of the patients with upper gastrointestinal haemorrhagia it would be logical to seek and if present to treat Helicobacter pylori in these patients.
