Rete testisin tübüler ektazisinde US bulguları: Üç olgu sunumu

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, ultrasonografik inceleme sırasında rete testis tübüler ektazisi (RTTE) ve aynı taraflı epididim kisti ve/veya spermatosel saptanan üç olgu sunulmaktadır. Olgu sunumu: Değişik skrotal yakınmaları olan üç erişkin erkek hasta ultrasonografi (US) ile değerlendirildi. Tüm US incelemelerde 7.5 MHz lineer prop kullanıldı.

Ultrasonographic findings in tubular ectasia of the rete testis: A report of three cases

Objective: The aim of this study was to show the typical ultrasonography (US) findings of tubular ectasia of the rete testis and ipsilateral epididymal cyst and/or spermatocele in three cases. Case report:Three adult patients underwent US examination because of various scrotal symptoms. The scrotal sonography study was carried out with a linear probe of 7.5 MHz. In US examination, we observed in all cases an intratesticular image located mediastinum testis constituted by anechoic and serpiginous tubular structures, which do not show any blood flow with the color Doppler. Two case had cysts in the head of epididymis. The last case showed a spermatocele in the head of epididymis. Conclusion: The dilatation of the rete testis is a benign entity frequently associated with pathology in epididymis, with specific US findings which permit avoidance of invasive tests.
