Aktinik keratozisde serum lipid seviyeleri

Sonuç: Her aktinik keratozisli hastada serum lipid profili incelenmelidir. Serum lipid sevivesi yüksek olanlara diyet ve ilaç tedavisi uygulanmalıdır.

Serum levels of lipid fractions in actinic keratosis

Objective: Actinic keratosis is a malignant disease and is a sensitive and important manifestation of sun induced skin damage. The aim of this study was to determine whether there is any relationship between serum concentrations of lipid fractions and actinic keratosis. Methods: Levels of triglyceride, phopholipid, and cholesterol were studied in twenty patients with actinic keratosis and in twelve healthy. Results: Levels of lipid fractions were increased in actinic keratosis when actinic keratosis and healthy were compared with each other, a significant increase in trigliceride, cholesterol and phospholipid was found in actinic keratosis. Conclusion: Serum lipid profiles should be examined in every patients with actinic keratosis. Diet and medical therapy should be given to patients with elevated serum lipid levels.
