Tüketicilerin Dışarıda Yemek Yeme Nedenleri

Değişen tüketici ihtiyaç ve istekleri tüketicilerin dışarıda yemek yeme nedenlerini de değiştirmiştir. Tüketicilerin hangi nedenlerle dışarıda yemek yediğinin bilinmesi işletmelerin kendini konumlandırması, hedef pazarını belirlemesi, sunacağı ürün ve hizmetleri hedef kitlesine göre belirleyip çeşitlendirmesi işletmenin karlılığı, sürdürülebilirliği ve müşteri memnuniyeti açısından önem arz eden stratejik bilgilerdir. Bu önemden yola çıkarak araştırmada tüketicilerin dışarıda yemek yeme nedenleri ve bu nedenlerin sıralaması ile demografik değişkenler arasında fark olup olmadığı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma anketle veri toplama tekniği ile 410 katılımcıya anket uygulamak sureti gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler frekans, yüzde dağılımı ve sıralama işlemlerine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, Aileyle Birlikte Olmak, Arkadaşlarla Birlikte Olmak, Değişik Bir Ortamda Olma İsteği, Kişisel Özel Gün Kutlaması, Sosyalleşmek, Eğlenmek, Farklı Tatlar Deneme İsteği, Geleneksel Özel Gün Kutlaması, Çocukların İstemesi, Yemek Yapacak Zaman Olmaması ilk on sırada yer alan dışarıda yemek yeme nedenleri olduğu ve bu nedenlerin demografik değişkenlere göre farklılıklar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

The Motives for the Consumers’ Eating Out

The shift in the needs and demands of the consumers has changed the triggers of the consumers’ eating out. Recognizing the motives of the consumers’ eating out is of great importance for the organization in terms of the organization’s positioning, identifiying the target market, specifying and diversifying the products and services according to the consumer needs, its profitability, its sustainability and consumer satisfaction. Bearing the importance in mind, this study tries to design ate whether there is a difference between the motives of the consumer eating out and the ranking of these motives and the demographic varients. The data essential for the study were gathered from 410 participants utilizing a questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed for frequency and descriptive statistics. The findings of the study has posed that the first ten motives for eating out are respectively; the need for being with family, being with friends, being in a different atmosphere, celebrating a special day, socialization, having fun, trying different tastes, celebrating traditional special days, demands of the kids and having no time for cooking and also, demographic variables have a significant effect on these reasons.
