Bandırma Merinos Çiftliği ile Tahirova Türk – Alman Örnek Çiftlikleri Koyunlarında Tesbit Edilen Virusi Abort Vak'aları

1960, 1961 ve 1962 yılları içinde Badırma Merinos ile Türk -'-'AlmanÇiftliğinde 311 gebe koyun yavrusunu atmıştır. Fötüslerinbakteriyolajik muayenelerinde hiç bir bakteriyeletken-tesbit edilemediğigibi anaların . kan serumları serolojik olarak brucellosis ve salrnonellosistende rnenfi reaksiyon vermişlerdir.Son olarak sıkıt yapan koyun~arın, sıkıttan 3 hafta sonra getirilenkan serumları Virusi-Abort bakımından Komplement- Fi.xasyonmetodu ile muayene edilmiştir. Komplement - Fi.xasyon;· Stamp,Watt ve Cockburn (1952) isimlerindeki araştırıcıların pratiğe intikalettirdikleri ve Mitscherlich (1955) tarafından kullanılmış olan tekniğegöre yapılmıştır.Yukarıda zikredilen sürülere ait 311 adet kan serumunun muayenesisonunda, 20 tane müsbet ve 19 tane de şüpheli reaksiyon verenhayvan tesbit edilmiştir.Koyun virusi - abortu ilk defa Türkiyede Balıkesir ve Eskişehirbölgelerinde sıkıt yapan koyuniarda tesbit edilmiştir (1956 - 1958).Türkiyede koyunlar arasmda ki virusi - abort sporadik bir enfeksiyonolarak kabul edilmektedir.

In 1960, 1961 and 1962 311 Pregnant ewes aborted in the Turkish- German and Bandırma State Farms.The Bacteriological examinations of these fetuses did not showany Positive reactions for bacterial agents and we found negativereactions in the Serological tests of aborted ewes for brucellosis andSalmonellosis.The blood Sera of the latest aborted ewes obtained after threeWeeks of abortion were tested with the Complement - Fixationmethod.These c.f. tests were Conducted in the technique done by Stamp,Watt and Cockburn (1952) and Mitscherlich (1955).As a restılt of these examinations of blood Sera obtained from311 ewes mentioned above, 20 of them gave Positive reactions and19 of them Were found suspicious.The first cases of the Viral abortions of ewes in Turkey werefound by my Collegues araund Eskişehir (1956) and Balıkesir (1958).These Viral abortions of ewes have been recognized as the sporadicinfections in Turkey.
