DİCLE ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN TÜRKİYE'NİN AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ ÜYELİĞİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞ VE BEKLENTİLERİ

Çalışmanın amacı Dicle Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin Türkiye’nin AB üyeliği konusundaki görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmak ve bu görüşlerin Türkiye geneli yaklaşımlardan ne gibi farklılıklar arz ettiğini daha önce yapılan çalışmalar ile karşılaştırarak ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma öncelikle Türkiye’nin AB üyeliği sürecinin bir kronolojisini sunmakta ve önemli dönüm noktalarını irdelemektedir. Üyelik sürecinin tarihsel arkaplanı verildikten sonra bu çalışma için ulaşılan sonuçlar, Türkiye genelinde yapılan çalışmalarda ortaya çıkan sonuçlarla karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Yapılan istatistiki analizler Dicle Üniversitesi öğrencileri arasında Türkiye’nin AB üyeliğine desteğin Türkiye ortalamalarının üzerinde olduğunu göstermiştir. Diğer önemli bir sonuç ise cinsiyet farkının AB üyeliği sürecine bakış ve beklentilerde önemli bir değişken olduğu görülmüştür
