Ocak-1991 ve Ocak-1996 tarihleri arasında 12 olguya latissimus dorsi pediküllü flebi uygulandı. Olguların 5'i kadın, 7'si erkek olup ortalama yaş 24 yıldır, iki olguda dirsek fleksiyonunun rekonstruksiyonu için fonksiyonel, 10 olguda ise defekt kapatmak amacıyla uygulanmıştır. Bir olguda nekroz görüldü. Sonuç olarak latissimus dorsi flebi, üst ekstremite yaralanmalarında ve tümörlerinde fonksiyonel ve yumuşak doku defektlerini kapatmak amacıyla, geniş uygulama alanına sahip olan güvenilir bir fleptir.

Between January-1991 and January-1996,12 latissimus dorsi pediculated flaps were performed. The average age was 24 (ranged 8 from 40) yeears and 7 cases were male and 5 cases were female. In 10 cases the aim of the usage of the flaps were to close soft tissue defects and in 2 cases flaps used for the reconstruction of the flexion of the elbow. Necrosis was developed only in 1 (8.03%) case. As a result, this flap is useful for the reconstruction of the injuries, tumors of upper extremities and functional reconstruction of neuromuscular disorders. These flaps were safe and reliable for the coverage of the soft tissue defects of the upper extremities.
