Servikal vertebranın osteoid osteoması: Olgu sunumu

Bu yazıda 23 yaşında kadın hastada 5. servikal vertebrada osteoid osteoma olgusu sunulmuştur. Hastanın şikayeti boyun ağrısıdır. Düz grafilerde spesifik anormalite görülmemiştir. Kemik sintigrafisinde 5. servikal vertebra sol pedikülde aktivite artışı mevcuttur. Bu bulgularla osteoid osteoma düşünülmüştür. Lezyon eksize edilmiş ve mikroskopik inceleme osteoid osteoma ile uyumlu bildirilmiştir. Lezyonun alışılmadık lokalizasyonu ve değişik tanısal yöntemler açısından literatür eşliğinde tartışıldı.

Osteoid osteoma of the cervical spine: A case report

ln this report a 23 years - old female with an osteoid ostema in fifth cervical vertebra is presented. The patient's main icomplaint was neck pain. Plain radiography showed no abnormality. Bone scan showed increased activity in the left Ppedicul of C5. These findings were believed to be consistent with the diagnosis of osteoid osteoma .The lesion could be excised completely. Microscopic examinations revealed an osteoid osteoma. The unusual location of the lesion and role of various diagnostics modalities are discussed and the literature reviewed.
