Ocak-1991 ve Mart-7 995 tarihleri arasında çeşitli nedenlere bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan, yumuşak doku defektlerinin kapatılması ve fonksiyonel amaçlı olarak, 11 olgunun 12 alt ve üst ekstremitesine serbest latissimus dorsi kas-deri flebi (L.D.M.F.) uygulandı. Olgulardaki alınan ve tatbik edilen bölgelerdeki kozmetik ve fonksiyonel sonuçlar değerlendirildi. Serbest latissimus dorsi kas-deri flebinin ekstremitelerin ağır ezici yaralanmalarının rekonstrüksiyonunda uygun bir seçenek olacağı sonucuna varıldı. Akut olgularda flep uygulanacaksa, uygulanan bölgenin ve verici alanın ezilmiş olmamasına dikkat edilmelidir. Eğer ezici yaralanma varsa uygulamanın 3 hafta sonraya bırakılması, flebte nekroz riskini azaltacaktır.

Between January-1991 and March-1995, for reconstruction of the soft tissue defects of upper and lower extremities and to obtain motor function of the upper extremity, 12 free latissimus dorsi flap were performed in 11 cases. Functional and cosmetic results were evaluated. According to the results, this flap is a good alternative method for the reconstruction of the severe crush extremities. If there is crush injuries of the recipient and donor areas, it is better to apply the free latissimus dorsi flap on third week after the injury in order to decrease the risk of necrosis.
