Over kökenli juvenil granülosa hücreli tümör: Olgu sunumu
Overin seks-kord stromal tümörleri tüm over kanserlerinin yaklaşık %5'ini oluşturmaktadır.
Juvenile granulosa cell tumour of ovary: Case report
The sex-cord stromal tumors of the ovary comprise 5% of all ovarian cancers. Some endocrine changes like puberty precocs. amenorrhea, virilisation may associate. A 22 month old female with juvenile granulosa cell tumor of ovary is presented. She had puberty precocs and abdominal mass. A suprapubic pain/ess mass (12x11x9 cm) was detected during clinical examination and abdominal ultrasonography. The mass was mobile and encapsulated with well defined round borders. Right salphingooopherectomy was performed. Macroscopically the mass was solid, lobular, white-gray in color and encapsulated. On microscopic examination, the neoplastic granulosa cells were arranged in nodules, clusters or cords. Foci of edema and microcystic changes were observed. The Ki-67 activity was found to be low and P53 negative. The case was stage la according to FIGO staging system. The endocrine changes regressed during follow-up. The patient is alive and healthy during 8 months follow-up.
