Results of Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery in Female Smokers and Female Patients who make Tandoori who had Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Among the risk factors for coronary artery disease, the most important is smoking. Another major risk factor for coronary artery disease is the smoke from tandoor ovens, to which many rural women are exposed over a period of years. Of 856 patients who underwent elective CABG surgery in our clinic between January 2011 and January 2017, 345 female patients were investigated retrospectively. The patients were divided into two groups: Group 1 (smokers, n=47) and Group 2 (tandoor bakers, n=91). The mean age was 59.4 ± 5.2 years for Group 1 and 62.3 ± 4.2 years in Group 2.
