A temel çizgisinin 5' numaralı yere açılma sıklığı daha fazladır. Esansiyel hipertansiyonlu olguların parmak uçları ve avuç içinin interdigital ve hipotenar bölgelerinde önemli istatistiksel farklar gözlendi. Gözlenen bulgulardan, dermatoglifik çalışmanın esansiyel hipertansiyon ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalara katkıda bulunacağı sonucuna varıldı.
In this study was evaluated the dermatoglyphic patterns of finger and palms of patients with essential hypertension. The dermatoglyphics of 42 patient with hypertensive (24 males. 18 females) were compared with those of 80 control cases (42 male, 38 female). Analysis of dermatoglyphic patterns was realized with a magnifier and a stereoscopic microskope. On the fingertips of hypertensive cases, ulnar loops are more, total finger ridge count of male cases and atd angles on the hands of hypertensive cases are less then those of the control cases. Furthermore, palmar IV, H loops and t" triradii are less, and the palmar A line terminations is found more often at location number 5'. Statistically significant difference of cases with essential hypertension were observed especially on the interdigital and hypothenar areas palms and fingertips. From the results observed, it conclude that the dermatoglyphic study will contribute to the studies done with essential hypertension.
