Urticaria pigmentosa in childhood:Report of two cases
Mastocytosis is characterized by an excessive number of apparently normal mast cells in the skin and occasionally in other organs. In pediatric patients, cutaneous involvement is most prevalent in the form of urticaria pigmentosa, which is typically asymptomatic or minimally so with resolution by adolescence. Here, two pediatric cases with urticaria pigmentosa were reported.
