Arteria poplitea dallanım varyasyonlarının anatomik incelenmesi
Amaç: A.poplitea hiatus adductorius'dan arcus tendinous musculi solei'ye kadar uzanır. Arcus tendinous musculi solei'nin altından geçer geçmez a.tibialis anterior ve a.tibialis posterior'a ayrılır. A.fibularis, a.tibialis posterior'un başlangıç noktasının yaklaşık 2.5 cm aşağısından doğar. Çalışmamızın amacı, transluminal anjioplasti, vasküler greffier, embolektomi ve arter travmalarının tanısındaki önemi nedeniyle, a.poplitea varyasyonları ile ilgili ayrıntılı bilgi sunmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamızda formalinle fikse edilmiş erişkin insan kadavrala-rından elde edilen 58 alt ekstremitede a.poplitea'nın dallanım patterni, a.poplitea ve dallarının çapları, dalların belirlenen anatomik noktalara olan uzaklıkları değerlendi-rildi. Bulgular: Çalışmamızda Tip a dallanım olguların %96.6'sınd'a gözlendi. A.poplitea'mn ortalama çapı 6.3mm, truncus tibioperonealis'in 5.5mm, a.dbialis anterior'un 4.8mm, a.tibialis posterior'un 4.0mm, a.fıbularis'in 3.4mm olarak belir-lendi, Sonuç: A.poplitea dallanımındaki varyasyonların bilinmesi klinik uygulamalara yar-dımcı olacaktır.
An antomic study of variations of branching of popliteal artery
Objective: The popliteal artery extends from the hiatus in adductor magnus to the fibrous arch in soleus. It passes under the fibrous arch in soleus and immediately divides into anterior and posterior tibial arteries. The peroneal artery arises 2.5 centimeters below the commencement of the posterior tibial artery. The aim of this study is to give more detailed knowledge about the variations of the popliteal artery because of the its clinical importance in transluminal angioplasty, vascular grafting, embolectomy and the diagnosis of arterial injury. Material and methods: In our study branching patterns of the popliteal artery were considered, diameters of the branches and the popliteal artery, distances of the branches to the predetermined anatomic landmarks were measured in the 58 lower extremities taken from formalin-fixed adult human cadavers. Results: Tip a branching was observed in 96.6% of our series. It was determined that the main diameter of the popliteal artery was 6.3mm, the tibioperoneal trunk was 5.5mm, the tibialis anterior artery was 4.8mm, the tibialis posterior artery was 4.0mm and the fibular artery was 3.4mm. Conclusion: Knowledge of the variations of the branching of the popliteal artery will help the clinical applications.
