SORUMLU TURİZM YAKLAŞIMI İLE TURİSTİK DESTİNASYONLARIN GELİŞİMİ: FOÇA ÖRNEĞİ

Turizm ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel ve çevresel faktörleri etkilemesi açısından çok boyutlu ve turist ile ev sahibi arasındaki etkileşime dayalı dinamik bir süreçtir. Turizmin olumsuz ekonomik, çevresel ve sosyal etkileri azaltmayı ve yerel halka fayda sağlamayı amaçlayan sorumlu turizm yaklaşımı destinasyonda yer alan bütün paydaşların sorumluluklarının bilincinde olmasını ve bu sorumluluklar çerçevesinde gerçekleştirdikleri uygulamalarını kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, turistik destinasyonların gelişiminde, turizmin destinasyon üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini en aza indirgemeyi, yerel halk için ekonomik faydalar üretmeyi, yerel halkı karar verme sürecine dahil etmeyi, doğal kaynakları ve kültürel mirası korumayı, turistler ve yerel halk arasında anlamlı bağlar kurmayı, dezavantajlı grupların erişimini sağlamayı ve kültürel açıdan duyarlı olmayı hedefleyen sorumlu turizm anlayışının rolünün incelenmesidir. Çalışmada öncelikle literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Yerli ve yabancı literatürde yer alan bilgiler ışığında çalışmanın ilk iki bölümü oluşturulduktan sonra veri toplama araçları olan derinlemesine görüşme ve odak grup görüşmesi yardımıyla elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Sorumlu turizm ile destinasyon gelişimi arasındaki ilişki sorumlu turizmin boyutları olan çevresel sorumluluk, ekonomik sorumluluk ve sosyo-kültürel sorumluluk kapsamında derinlemesine incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgular ışığında sorumlu turizm anlayışının destinasyon gelişimi üzerindeki etkileri, destinasyon paydaşlarının sorumlu turizm anlayışı içerisindeki rolleri ve sorumlu turizm yaklaşımı ile destinasyon gelişimi süreci ortaya konulmuştur.
