Hemşirelik Mesleğinin Seçiminde İlişkili Olan Faktörler*

Giriş: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin mesleği seçimi ve seçerken etkili olan faktörler önemi göz ardı edilemez bir konudur. Amaç: Bu araştırma hemşirelik öğrencilerinin hemşirelik mesleğini seçme nedenlerini ve bununla ilişkili faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Söke Sağlık Yüksekokulu Hemşirelik Bölümünde 1. Sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 49 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan "Öğrenci Bilgi Formu" ve "Hemşirelikte Meslek Seçimi Ölçeği Türkçe Formu" kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 17 istatistik paket programında kodlanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler yüzdelik dağılım, Cronbach alfa, t test, Mann Whitney U testi ve Kruskall Wallis varyans analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %32.7'si 18 yaşında iken %38.8'i 19 yaşında, %28.4'ü 20 yaş ve üzerinde bulunmaktadır. %73.5'i kız iken %26.5'i ise erkektir. Öğrencilerin tamamı bekârdır. The Selection of Nursing Profession and Associated Factors Introduction: Choosing the profession of nursing students and can not ignore the importance of the effective factors when choosing a topic. Aim: The research was conducted as a descriptive study to choose the profession of nursing determine factors and affect it. Methods: The research sample included 1st year 49 students studying in Adnan Menderes University of Söke Health Nursing Department. The questionnaire form designed by the researcher " The Student İnformation Form" and "Nursing Career Choice Scale Turkish Form" was used.The data were coded and evaluated by SPSS 17 statistical package program. The data were evaluated by using percentage and Chi-square, t test, Mann Whitney U test and Kruskall Wallis test. Results: It was determined that 32.7% at the age of 18, 38.8% 19 years old, 28.4% are over the age of 20. 73.5% female, while 26.5% were male. All students are single. The average score of professional fitness, sex is affected by variable (p<.05). Sex was associated with an average total scale score (p<.05). The average score is caused by an effect on the vital points in YGS. Conclusion: Students increased levels of awareness of the nursing profession and the career choices determined gender, YGS score.
