Web tabanlı dersler güncelliğini giderek arttırmaktadır. Öğrencilerin web tabanlı eğitim sistemleri yoluyla eğitim ortamlarına istedikleri yerde ve zamandan bağımsız olarak katılmaları günümüzün eğitim teknolojileri alanındaki en önemli avantajı olarak değerlendirilebilir. Yeni teknolojilerin kullanımı pedagoji, içerik ve etkileşim ile ilgili konuları ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Fen Bilgisi eğitimi doktora derslerinden olan Gen Kavramı ve işlevi dersi için web tabanlı bir öğrenme ortamı metadolojisi geliştirilmiş ve web sayfaları tasarımı yapılmıştır. Bu bildiri aynı zamanda web tabanlı ortamlardaki ders hazırlama süreçler' ve web üzerinde kaliteli bir eğitim için öneriler sunmaktadır.

Web-based courses are becoming increasingly popular. Participation of students to learning environment through web-based education when they want and where they want can be thought as the most important advantage in educational technologies field. The use of new technology raises issues relating to pedagogy, content, and interaction. In this study, a web-based learning environment methodology has been developed and web pages has been designed for one of the course in Science Education Ph. D program, Gen Concept and Functions. This paper also describes the preparation process in web based environment and presents considerations for a quality education on the web.
