Bu makalede; Fârâbî’ye göre, din nedir? Dinî yorum nedir? şeklindeki sorulara cevap bulmak üzere Fârâbî’nin “ed-din”, “el-mille” ve “fi lozof” gibi kavramlara verdiği anlamlar dikkate alınarak, fi lozofun felsefî sistemi yorumlanmaya çalışıldı. Ayrıca “ed-din” ile “el-mille”nin benzeştikleri ve ayrıştıkları noktalar üzerinde duruldu. Bu bağlamda “ed-din”’in vahiyle doğrudan ilişkisi ve “el-mille”nin de felsefe ile olan muhtemel ilişkileri üzerinde duruldu.

The purposes of this article are to deal with the concepts of ”adDin”, “al-Milla” and “philosophy” as viewed by al-Fârâbî and to fi nd possible answers to the question of what religion is. What is religious interpretation in al-Fârâbî’s philosophical system? Furthermore, similarities and differences between the concepts of “addin” and “al-Milla” are thoroughly examined. The direct relationship of “ad-din” (religion) with the revelation and the possible connection of al-Milla with philosophy are discussed in detail in this article
