Türkiye Dinler Tarihi Derneği(TÜDTAD), 1994’de Ankara’da kurulusundan itibaren önemli bilimsel faaliyetler ve yayınlar yapan bir dernektir. Türkiye Dinler Tarihi Derneği, Uluslararası Dinler Tarihi Derneği(IAHR) ve Avrupa Din Bilimleri Derneği(EASR) üyesidir. Bu çalısmanın amacı, TÜDTAD’ı kurulusundan günümü- ze bütün yönleriyle incelemektir. Böylece bu önemli bilimsel Dernek hakkında doğ- ru bilgilenmenin sağlanması hedeflenmektedir. Bu makalede; önce dünyada Dinler Tarihinin kurumlasma süreci ile Uluslararası Dinler Tarihi Derneği ve Avrupa Din Bilimleri Derneği ele alınacak; sonra da Türkiye’de Dinler Tarihi’nin kurumlasma süreci ve kurulusundan günümüze Türkiye Dinler Tarihi Derneği incelenecektir

Turkish Association for the History of Religions (TAHR/TÜDTAD) is an as- sociation that has done important scientific activities and had publications since its establishment in 1994 in Ankara. The Association is a member of the International Association for the History of Religions (IAHR) and the European Association for the Study of Religions (EASR). This study’s purpose is to examine all aspects of the TAHR from its establishment until today and its contributions to the History of Religions. Thus, the exact information about this important scientific society will be attained. In this article, first a process of institutionalization of the History of Religions in the world and the International Association for the History of Religions and the European Association for the Study of Religions will be discussed, then the process of institutionalization of the History of Religions in Turkey and the Turkish Association for the History of Religions will be examined from its establishment until today
